After having an affair, a mother tries to win back the respect of her oldest daughter, Nicole, while keeping the truth a secret from Nicole’s younger sister, Lou. While confronting notions of love and loss, Nicole struggles to navigate a promising photography career, a new romance, and her family life during her senior year of college. Evoking the bittersweet delight of the French New Wave and powered by a pitch-perfect score, Tableau is an earnest and moving look at the strain of growing up.
